Three Azerbaijani residents blown up by a mine

Residents of the Agdjabedi District tried to enter the territories that passed under Azerbaijan's control after the last autumn aggravation of the Karabakh conflict, and got blown up by a mine. One of them died.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 17, in the Agdam District, a shepherd was wounded by a mine explosion; doctors had to amputate his leg.

On April 26, while trying to bypass the checkpoints, three residents of the Agdjabedi District, Shakhin Verdiev, Aidin Guliev and Firdovsi Guliev triggered a mine explosion. Verdiev died on the spot, and the Guliev brothers were hospitalized with traumas to the central hospital of Agdjabedi, the "oxu.az" has reported, noting that Verdiev tried to penetrate the territories that came under Azerbaijan's control for the second time in 2021. On March 30, he was detained by the police; and he was placed in custody for 16 days by the decision of the Agdam District Court, the "Sputnik-Azerbaijan" reports.
