Announcement of pass control in Chechnya alarms social network users

During the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr (Uraza-Bairam), the access control regime will be introduced at entrances to Chechnya; and raids are planned to detect illegal transportation of passengers, the republic's authorities have announced. The novelty has worried Instagram users, who called for presenting the details of the planned restrictions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the days of May 12-14 have been declared days off in Chechnya in connection with the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

On May 9, the Ministry of Transports and Communications of Chechnya announced restrictions in connection with the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The same message was posted late in the evening on May 10 by the "Chechnya Today" News Agency on its Instagram page. It is illustrated with a photograph of armed fighters inspecting vehicles on the road, with the inscription: "On holidays, at all entry points of the Chechen Republic the access control will be strengthened."

The authors of the comments to the post have complained that the Ministry's message was not informative enough.

"I'd like to know what the essence of this strengthening will be," the user konrad_karlov1ch wrote, in particular. "Does it only concern those coming from other cities?" the user islam_musaev_akhmat has asked.

"Unclear!!!" the user karat_2020 was indignant. "Write clearly what you mean to say by this. It's not clear. There is a question mark after each word," the user zina_1709 has complained.
