Peacemakers report on solving electricity supply problem in Martuni

The Martuni Mayoralty has received, as humanitarian aid, some electrical equipment which made it possible to solve the problem of power outages; and medical first aid kits have been delivered to local schools and kindergartens, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Russian peacemakers are systematically delivering humanitarian aid to residents of Nagorno-Karabakh. Thus, on May 26, Russian militaries ensured the delivery of things and medicines to the Mardakert District (the Azerbaijani name is Agderin District).

Some Karabakh residents who have become disabled as a result of shelling are facing difficulties in receiving aid from the state, the blogger, David Simonyan, wrote in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot" entitled "Upland Turns. Karabakh". As an example, he cited the story of a local resident named Gegam, who got under fire, and the doctors then amputated his leg.

"They said that all the wounded persons were paid 500,000 drams (about USD 1000) each. He did not receive it, because some paper lacked in his case," Simonyan wrote, noting that it is difficult for disabled people to integrate into the society.
