Soldier’s remains found in Fizuli District

In the Fizuli District, Karabakh rescuers have found remains of a military serviceman. Thus, the total number of bodies and remains found in the battle zone has reached 1596, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 3, Karabakh rescuers reported on the discovery of the remains of four militaries in the areas of the cities of Varanda (the Azerbaijani name is Fizuli, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Djrakan (the Azerbaijani name is Djabrail, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). The total number of remains of Armenian military servicemen found in the Karabakh conflict zone has reached 1595.

Now, during the searching operations in the Fizuli District, employees of the Nagorno-Karabakh Emergency Services found a soldier’s remains. A forensic medical examination has been appointed with the aim to identify the remains, the Emergency Services reported in the evening on July 6 on its website.

In total, as it was reported that during the searches conducted in the territories that came under Azerbaijan’s control, bodies and remains of 1596 people were found.
