Azerbaijani Army soldier perishes
The Azerbaijani MoD has launched an inquiry into the death of Private Shamil Aslanov. According to the preliminary version, the soldier died because of violating the rules for handling firearms.
According to the MoD, there was a gross violation of the above rules, the "Trend" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Armenia-Azerbaijani conflict escalated in recent days. Armed incidents are regularly recorded on the Armenian-NAR border and on the Azerbaijani border with the Gegarkunik Region of Armenia. On July 28, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of wounding two soldiers.
