Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of using combat UAVs

Today, attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been used to attack the positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on August 9, the Azerbaijani armed forces used their positions in the city of Shushi (the Azerbaijani name is Shusha, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”) to shell the Armenian positions near the villages of Mkhitarashen and Shosh (the Azerbaijani names are Mkhitarikend and Shushikend, respectively, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”), the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reported. Villagers have repeatedly requested the deployment of peacekeepers in the area, and the recent shelling attacks have highlighted security concerns again, local residents complain.

Today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has announced that Armenia is transferring its soldiers to the territory where the Russian peacekeepers are deployed, contrary to the agreement of November 10, 2020.
