Two militants killed in CTO in Dagestan

During a counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in the Buynaksk District, law enforcers killed two militants. Weapons, ammunition and an improvised bomb were found at the shootout venue, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has informed.

There are no losses among law enforcers and victims among civilians, the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC's message.

The NAC has added that the bandits were offered to surrender, but in response they opened fire on law enforcers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on April 22, 2021, policemen were shelled while trying to detain two men in Kizlyar. Both attackers were detained.
