Talgi villagers tell about situation in CTO venue

Two militants were killed during a counterterrorist operation (CTO) by law enforcers in a forest near the village of Talgi. In the village, school classes were cancelled; there is an accumulation of military equipment; and the entrance to and the exit from the village were blocked, local residents have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, a counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Buynaksk District of Dagestan. The Russian National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) has reported the assassination of two militants.

Law enforcers killed them in a forest near the village of Talgi. There was no sound of gunfire, but from the morning, the entrance to and the exit from the village were blocked, said one of the local residents.

An accumulation of military equipment is observed around the village, said another local resident. The situation is relatively calm, but before the CTO they warned that the regime could last for up to two days, he has added.

Let us remind you that according to the NAC, law enforcers offered the militants to lay down their arms and surrender, but they opened fire in response. Weapons, ammunition and an improvised bomb were found at the venue of the shootout.
