The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the authorities of Dagestan announced tougher coronavirus restrictions. On October 28, a QR-code system was imposed in Dagestan.

On October 28, on its page on Instagram, the Kizlyar Mayoralty reported that city minibus drivers went on strike because of fines imposed on them because of passengers violating the mask regime. “After a number of conflicts and fines imposed during inspectors’ raids, minibus drivers refused to transport passengers without masks. This morning, they have even boycotted passengers without masks and refused to go on the minibus route lines. It was not till the intervention of the Mayoralty when the minibus drivers go back to their route lines and resumed transporting passengers,” the Kizlyar Mayoralty reports in its message posted on Instagram.
