Resident of Nagorno-Karabakh detained by Azerbaijani militaries

This morning, a resident of the Ashan village in the Martuni District of Nagorno-Karabakh has got lost in the border area and been detained by Azerbaijani militaries, and Russian peacekeepers are negotiating his return, the National Security Service of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

This morning, the National Security Service of the unrecognized republic has received a report on the disappearance of a 21-year-old resident of the Ashan community in the Martuni District. “It turned out that he got lost and found himself in the territory controlled by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, where he was detained. The incident was immediately reported to the Russian peacekeepers, who assured (us) of the safety of our citizen. At present, the negotiations are underway to return him,” the National Security Service of Nagorno-Karabakh reports today.
