Armenian soldier killed near border with Azerbaijan

One Armenian military was killed and another was wounded as a result of a shootout at the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reports today.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has announced today that the Armenian side accumulated additional armed forces near the border and shelled the Azerbaijani positions in the Kelbadjar District. The Armenian MoD announces to have repulsed the attack of Azerbaijani soldiers.

The “Caucasian Knot” correspondent has been informed by the press service for the Armenian MoD about the death of one and the wounding of another soldier in the shootout near the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
