Kadyrov renews his threats to take away part of lands from Ingushetia
Ramzan Kadyrov has threatened that if the claims stating that the authorities of Chechnya have illegally seized the territory of Ingushetia do not stop, then the “remaining villages” will also go to Chechnya. The leader of the republic call authors of the above-mentioned statements provocateurs.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in November 2021, amid unrest over the work in the Fortanga River bed, along which the border of the republics passes, Ramzan Kadyrov warned Ingushetia that if dissatisfaction with the current borders did not stop, the borders would be revised again and again in favour of Chechnya.
According to Ramzan Kadyrov, “the provocateurs are groundlessly claiming that the authorities of Chechnya have allegedly taken their territory illegally.”
As an example of the consequences of “provocations,” the leader of Chechnya mentioned the riots in Kazakhstan. “Under the pretext of raising gas prices, a group of people was released, and the rest just joined them,” Ramzan Kadyrov said.
