Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of a shelling attack on positions in Kelbadjar

The Armenian military forces shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani army in Kelbadjar, there are no casualties in personnel, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reports.

“On February 11, for no reason, the Armenian armed forces used small arms to shell the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Zeilik village of the Kelbadjar District from the direction of Verkhnyaya Shordja village of the Basarkechar District (the Gegarkunik District of Armenia, – note of the ‘Caucasian Knot’) of Armenia,” the press service for the Azerbaijani MoD reported.

According to the press service, the actions of the enemy were stopped by return fire.

On February 10, the MoD of Azerbaijan also reported that the Armenian military forces shelled the positions in the Kelbadjar District, after which, according to military officials, return fire was opened. The Armenian Ministry of Defence denied the information.
