Kadyrov's Instagram account blocked

The page of Ramzan Kadyrov's assistant on the Instagram, which the head of Chechnya used to circumvent sanctions after his personal account in the social network was blocked, is now inaccessible.

The page ya_pomoshnik_kra_95, which operated in recent years on behalf of Kadyrov, has now been removed. As of February 1, it had over 8.4 million subscribers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2017, the USA added Kadyrov to the sanctions list, treating him responsible for extrajudicial executions, torture and other human rights violations in Chechnya. In May 2020, the Instagram account used by Kadyrov was deleted due to US sanctions.
