Baku denies accusation of shelling attacks on civilians

The positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled, and Azerbaijani militaries opened return fire. The Azerbaijani armed forces did not fire at civilians, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that, according to the Nagorno-Karabakh’s version, last night the Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the village of Khramort in the Askeran District (located in the territories of the Khodjaly and Agdam Districts of Azerbaijan, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”).

The armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh shelled the positions of Azerbaijani soldiers, the country’s Ministry of Defence reported. Azerbaijani soldiers returned fire, the MoD added. “The Azerbaijani army does not strike at civilian infrastructure,” the Azerbaijani MoD emphasized.
