Nagorno-Karabakh reports about a mortar shelling attack on a rural school
A school in the village of Khnapat was shelled with mortars from the Azerbaijani direction, and the Azerbaijani military used loudspeakers to request residents of the village of Tagavard to leave the village, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Nagorno-Karabakh reported.
According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh, on the night of March 10, the Azerbaijani military fired about 23 mortar shells in the direction of the Khramort village in the Askeran District (located on the territories of the Khodjaly and Agdam Districts of Azerbaijan, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”). A resident of the Khramort village got a shrapnel wound. On March 10, Azerbaijan announced that the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Agdam District were shelled from the territory of the Karabakh conflict zone.
Today, the MIA of Nagorno-Karabakh has also reported about a shelling attack from mortars on a school in the village of Khnapat in the Askeran District and about threats to residents of the village of Tagavard in the Martuni District.
“Threats and demands to leave the village are being received through loudspeakers from the Azerbaijani positions near the village of Tagavard in the Martuni District,” the press service for the MIA of Nagorno-Karabakh reported.
Let us remind you that today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reported about shelling attacks on its positions in the Fuzuli, Khodjavend, Agdam, Khodjaly, and Kelbadjar Districts.
