Repair of gas pipeline from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh completed
Workers have finalized the repair of the section of the Shushi-Zariflu gas pipeline located in the territory controlled by Azerbaijan; the gas began arriving at the receiving station of the gas supplying organization of Nagorno-Karabakh, the authorities of the unrecognized republic have informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on March 8, an accident occurred at the section of the Shushi-Zariflu gas pipeline, due to which the gas supply to Nagorno-Karabakh was cut off. On March 10, the Ombudsperson of Nagorno-Karabakh announced humanitarian problems due to a three-day gas supply outage.
In the afternoon on March 18, the repair works of the damaged section of the gas pipeline were over, the information headquarters of Nagorno-Karabakh has reported. "Natural gas is already coming to the reception point of "Artsakhgaz" Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC)," the "News-Armenia" has quoted the headquarters as reporting.
The gas supply to Nagorno-Karabakh consumers will resume on March 19, the "News.am" has reported with reference to the information headquarters of the unrecognized republic.
