South-Ossetian president reports about sending locals to Donbass
Residents of South Ossetia have left for Ukraine to take part in the Russian military operation, Anatoly Bibilov, the president, has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that South-Ossetian authorities has demonstrated support for Russia in its conflict with Ukraine by gathering about 600 people at a rally in Tskhinvali on March 2. Mostly civil servants were among the participants of the rally.
"Our guys are going to perform their military duty… they are well aware that they go to defend Russia and Ossetia," Bibilov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that South Ossetia was the first to recognize the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR). The relevant decrees were signed back in June 2014.
