Kuban teenager arrested in extremism case

A court arrested for two months a minor resident of the village of Kaluga in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the investigators’ version, the minor suspect was a member of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi youth radical community “M.K.U.” and prepared to commit murder.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the FSB has repeatedly reported about detentions in Southern Russia of supporters of the Ukrainian youth radical community “M.K.U.”, created by Yegor Krasnov, a citizen of Ukraine.

The radical community “M.K.U”, which name stands for “Youth. Cult of Killings”, was created in 2019. According to residents of Gelendzhik detained in March, they received from Yegor Krasnov and other Ukrainian members of the “M.K.U.” from Kharkov and Kiev the instructions on making explosive devices, committing terror acts and killings.

The teenager suspected of participating in the extremist community has been arrested for two months, the Investigating Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported today.

According to the investigators’ version, in July 2021, the suspect “joined the extremist community of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi youth grouping ‘M.K.U.’” In the period from July 2021 to February 2022, the teenager posted in several groups in one of the messengers “materials of extremist nature containing calls to commit crimes against the life and health of people,” the ICRF’s Investigating Department for the Krasnodar Territory reports on its official website.

The minor was detained on March 29. During a search of his place, law enforcers seized firearms and cartridges, a knife, an axe, and camouflage. A criminal case was instituted under articles on participation in an extremist community and preparation for a murder.
