“Vazhnye Istorii”* reports about elite real estate of Kadyrov’s associates in Dubai

According to a journalistic investigation conducted by the “Vazhnye Istorii” (Important Stories)*, associates of Ramzan Kadyrov own apartments and villas in Dubai worth from hundreds of thousands to several million US dollars.

Chechen officials from among relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov own apartments in an elite Moscow residential complex, but do not report them in official declarations, follows from the investigation released in 2021 by the “Vazhnye Istorii”* media project.

By 2020, Ruslan Baisarov, an entrepreneur from the Forbes list, a friend of Ramzan Kadyrov, was listed as an owner of five apartments and a villa on the well-known artificial island of Palm Jumeirah. The total value of the Ruslan Baisarov’s property in Dubai exceeds 10 million US dollars.

Akhmad Yasaev, an advisor to the leader of Chechnya, was listed as an owner of an apartment worth 800,000 US dollars in the Al-Hallavi building. He worked as the chief of the Ramzan Kadyrov’s secretariat and is known for carrying out special assignments.

Senator Suleiman Geremeev, an uncle of Ruslan Geremeev, who was put on the wanted list in March 2015 in connection with possible involvement in the murder of oppositionist Boris Nemtsov, may also be related to real estate in Dubai. Ramzan Kadyrov reported in his Telegram channel that Ruslan Geremeev was in Ukraine.
