Military experts dispute about Kadyrov's data on sending volunteers to Ukraine

In Chechnya, it is realistic to train within a week about two hundred volunteers to be sent to Ukraine, if they already have experience in military service, a military expert has pointed out in his comment on Ramzan Kadyrov's words about training of volunteers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 23, Kadyrov announced the sending of several hundred volunteers from Chechnya, including residents of other regions of the country. Some experts believe that the 10-day-long training for taking part in the special operation is insufficient.

Vasily Dandykin, a military expert, finds it possible to send about 200 volunteers in a week to participate in the special operation in Ukraine. "Chechnya has Russia's best training centres," he said.

The volunteers will be involved in cleaning up dwelling settlements after military operations and in establishing order for the peaceful life of the local population, Mr Dandykin has suggested.

Gennady Gudkov, a retired FSB colonel, has doubted the authenticity of Kadyrov's information about sending volunteers. According to his version, volunteers may express desire to go to Ukraine, but not in such numbers.
