Memorial plaques opened in memory of residents of Stavropol Territory who perished in Ukraine
Alexander Mescheryakov, Evgeny Boiko, Ruslan Mgoev, Oleg Manuilov and Maxim Manzyk have perished in Ukraine; memorial plaques have been installed at the schools where they studied, the head of the Novoaleksandrovsky urban district has informed. Since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 22 natives of the Stavropol Territory have been confirmed.
Alexander Mescheryakov was 21 years old. After graduating from a technical school, he was drafted into the army, and then signed a contract. In Ukraine, he perished on March 11, the administration's Telegram channel has informed.
Evgeny Boiko is from Novoaleksandrovsk. In 2011 he was drafted into the army, and then signed a contract. He perished on February 27 in Ukraine. Oleg Manuilov was also born in Novoaleksandrovsk; he perished on February 24.
Ruslan Mgoev was drafted into the army after graduating from an agricultural college; then, he signed a contract. He perished on March 28, the head of the district said in his Telegram.
Maxim Manzyk was drafted into the army in 2020, after the mandatory service he signed a contract. He perished on March 22. "He has been presented to the Order of Courage," the head of the district said on his Telegram channel.
