Yerevan: opposition resumes disobedience actions

From early morning, the Armenian opposition has resumed motor rallies along Yerevan streets, demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. Activists have blocked the metro; and the police started detentions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since April 25, the Armenian opposition has been holding protests demanding the resignation of the Premier, Nikol Pashinyan. On May 20, opposition supporters held a protest outside a hotel in Yerevan, where an international forum was held with the participation of Nikol Pashinyan and Western diplomats.

Today, from early morning, in Yerevan, oppositionists have resumed their disobedience actions. The work of the Yerevan metro has been paralyzed, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported, who watched the live broadcast of the action on the page of the "Voice of Youth" initiative group in the social network.

The police have begun detaining opposition supporters.

In parallel, oppositionists are holding motor rallies in four directions: the columns of vehicles move at a speed of 10-15 kilometres per hour.
