Over 40 people suffered during protest in Armenia

At the protest action held near governmental dachas in Yerevan, a total of 42 persons suffered, including 22 law enforcers, in clashes.

On Friday (June 3), the MPs from the "Civil Contract" faction failed to appear at the parliamentary session initiated by the opposition on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Protesters went to the government building to demand an explanation for the disruption of the session. Law enforcers used stun grenades and began detaining people.

According to a source from the Armenian Ministry of Public Health, the victims were hospitalized.

Daniel Ionnisyan, the coordinator of the "Union of Informed Citizens" project, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that policemen also used truncheons.
