Details of Georgian volunteer's death in Ukraine become known
Kakha Gogol, a volunteer from Georgia, has perished in the Lugansk Region as a result of an air strike.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 10, Georgian media reported the death of a native of Georgia in the Lugansk Region, who became the 17th volunteer from Georgia who perished in Ukraine.
Kakha Gogol, a veteran of the Abkhaz war, left for Ukraine two weeks after the start of the Russian special operation. According to preliminary data, he perished in the Lugansk Region as a result of an air strike, the "News of Georgia" Agency reports with reference to its sources.
Kakha Gogol lived in a refugees' settlement in Poti; he perished in the Lugansk Region on July 10. Relatives do not yet know when his body will be delivered to Georgia, the "InterPressNews" reports. "Kakha was a very great patriot, extremely fond of his homeland. At one time he also fought in Abkhazia," the agency has quoted one of his relatives as saying.
