"Rosgvardiya" announced death of native of Chechnya in Ukraine
Junior Sergeant Khamzat Ilyasov has perished in Ukraine; a memorial plaque has been installed at the school in the village of Avtury, where he studied, the North-Caucasian Branch of the "Rosgvardiya" (Russian National Guard) has reported. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 23 natives of Chechnya have been officially confirmed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 27, the deaths of four policemen from Chechnya in Ukraine became known.
In the village of Avtury, Shali District of Chechnya, a memorial plaque was opened on the building of School No. 1 in honour of Junior Sergeant Khamzat Ilyasov, who perished while performing his missions during the special military operation. Khamzat Ilyasov was awarded the Order of Courage (posthumously), the above "Rosgvardiya" Branch reported on September 2 on its Telegram channel.
Thus, since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 23 natives of Chechnya have been officially confirmed.
The “Caucasian Knot” runs a list of names of natives of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) and the Southern Federal District (SFD) who perished during the special military operation in Ukraine. The list is compiled on the basis of the data officially confirmed by the regional authorities.
