Residents of Dagestan outraged by long electricity outage
Salman Dadaev, the head of Makhachkala, has stated that the accident at the "Compass" power substation, which left the northern part of the city without electricity, was "very complicated," the works were underway all night. In their comments to this post, Telegram users have demanded to specify the time for the power supply resumption.
The accident at the "Compass" substation occurred at night on September 3. The northern part of the Dagestani capital found itself in the power outage zone.
"The repair-restoration works at the substation continued throughout the night; now, morning teams have replaced the night ones. According to experts, the accident is very serious," Salman Dadaev, the Makhachkala Mayor, wrote in his Telegram channel today at 8:57 a.m. Moscow time.
"Please tell me when the electricity supply is restored? We are sitting in such heat without electricity and water," the user Gulizar Sultanova wrote at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time. "We got boiled until the morning, but so far we are holding on," the user AmiNa has commented.
"There is still no power in Semender, in Severnaya Street; was it really impossible to fix it within 15 hours? There isn't and won't be order in this city," the user Bugalova Patka complained at 9:10 a.m. Moscow time. "Please highlight the progress of works, give information and at least the approximate time when they will restore the supply," the user Magomed wrote at 9:16 a.m. Moscow time. "Yesterday, when we called, they promised to restore the supply late at night, now they promise to do it by the lunchtime, I really hope so," the user Gulizar Sultanova has noted.
