The thirteen women who had gone on hunger strike in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, went to the Chechen Republic and visited the Prosecutor's Office of the city of Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that the mothers possess information that many of the kidnapped persons were brought to temporary custody facilities (IVSs) in Chechnya.

A hunger-striker Svetlana Isaeva reported to the representatives of the "All-Russian Civil Congress":

"We were received by the City Prosecutor, who listened to us, invited the head of the IVS to talk to us, and we went together with him to inspect the cells and check up the registration books of the persons brought to the IVS."

According to Svetlana Isaeva, they did not find the names of the kidnapped young men in the registration books.

The mothers were also shown the cells where detainees are kept. Two of them were empty, but with traces of recent presence of people: scattered sweets and other things. She also noted: "Inmates often write their names on the walls, but in these cells the plaster was quite fresh ...it was impossible to write on it."

After visiting the IVS, the women asked the Prosecutor to let them visit the mental hospital, where someone of the kidnapped persons could be found.

"However, the Prosecutor refused, so to speak, he had no time to get ready," Svetlana said.

At present, all the thirteen women continue their hunger strike.
