Residents of Rostov Region tell about problems caused by mobilization of their relatives

Relatives of those mobilized in the Krasnosulin District of the Rostov Region have complained that they had lost their husbands' and sons' support, and worry about their financial wellbeing.

Earlier, Krasny Sulin townspeople expressed their concerns about the continued mobilization. Some of those who can receive summonses have already left the city and the country, local women have informed. The reservists who stay in the city called the news disturbing, but stated that they had no plans to leave the city.

On October 3, the press service of the Governor, Vasily Golubev, announced that the Rostov Region had fully coped with the partial mobilization plan, but specified that "when an additional task is received, the work will continue."

When her husband was mobilized, life became very difficult, said Natalia Ovechko, a resident of the Krasnosulin District. "He was a driver and took us everywhere. Now I can't go to my parents who live in another city. It's very difficult to do this with our three children. There is no one to help me at home," the mother of a large family has complained.

Besides, everything that happened has strongly crippled her psyche. "Children constantly ask where dad is; they cry, and I cry myself," said the woman.

Irina, another woman from the Krasnosulin District, said that her son is 25 years old; he served in the as the commander of a "Smerch" (Storm) combat vehicle.

According to her story, her nerves failed at the very start of the mobilization. The son has a wife left at home. "She works, but obviously there will be not enough money. It's difficult to pay out the mortgage alone," Irina said.

The Governor has announced that he had signed a resolution on measures to support the families of those mobilized. They will be help in employment, training and further education. They are also entitled to the targeted psychological and legal support, Vasily Golubev wrote in his Telegram channel.
