Contract soldier arrested in Nalchik for refusing to go to Ukraine
The military court in Nalchik has sentenced Konstantin Trifonov, a contract soldier, to 25 days of disciplinary arrest for his refusal to follow the order to leave for the special military operation (SMO) zone in Ukraine.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in February it became known that the military court in Stavropol had sentenced Marat Batdyev, a contract soldier, to disciplinary arrest for 20 days, finding him guilty of evading departure to the SMO zone in Ukraine.
As reported by the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project, according to the court judgement, "while on the parade ground of the military unit, Trifonov, in the presence of other military servicemen, refused to go on a service trip due to his moral and psychological unpreparedness to perform combat missions."
"At the trial, Trifonov pleaded guilty to committing a gross disciplinary offense imputed to him," the court's website has reported.
Earlier, the Vladikavkaz Garrison Military Court sentenced Timofei Shaburov, a contract soldier, to six months at the disciplinary unit for leaving the service for two weeks after returning from the SMO zone prior to the announcement of the partial mobilization.
