Since January 13, the Stavropol Territory has been considering the complaints against the sentence lodged by seven Magas protest leaders. They are accused of creating an extremist community. On December 15, 2021, the court sentenced Zarifa Sautieva to 7.5 years in colony.

Prior to her arrest, Sautieva already had problems with her spine, but at the SIZO (pre-trial prison), due to a lack of activeness, she experiences severe back pain. Before her detention, she was recommended to be examined and treated every six months, but now she has no such opportunity, the above "Memorial Centre" has noted.
