Coordinator of Navalny's office** in Krasnodar put on federal wanted list

Lev Gyammer, a former coordinator of the Krasnodar office of Alexei Navalny*, an oppositional politician, has been put on the federal wanted list.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 31, 2020, the court ruled to fine Lev Gyammer for a video criticizing the policies of the Russian president.

"I haven't been living in Russia since 2021 due to criminal prosecution of Navalny's offices. So, I don't think that it's possible to complicate my life even more. Only a couple of countries now are extraditing to Russia those prosecuted under political articles; and I try to avoid these countries," The "Kavkaz.Realii"*** project quotes the activist as saying.

*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities in Russia of the Meta Company, owning the Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, in connection with extremist activities.

**Navalny's offices are recognized as extremist organizations and banned in Russia. Alexei Navalny is a founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (known as FBK), an NCO that is included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of NCOs performing functions of a foreign agent. The NCO is also recognized by a court as extremist and banned in the territory of Russia.
