Posts in social network led Krasnodar resident to fine for discrediting Russian Army
A court in Krasnodar has fined Georgy Belik, a local resident, twice.
For his two posts in the "Odnoklassniki" social network, the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar has fined Belik by 1000 and 15,000 roubles, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported. The first fine was imposed under a protocol on extremist symbols – the badge of the "Azov" Battalion**; the second one – for comparing those who support the special military operation (SMO) with Nazis.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that Elizaveta Afanasieva, a resident of Krasnodar, was fined under the article on discrediting the Russian Army for a pro-Ukrainian inscription made on the street sidewalk with a spray can.
*Included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of foreign agents.
**On August 2, 2022, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the "Azov" Regiment as a terrorist and extremist organization, completely banning its activities in Russia.
