Court refuses to issue wound certificate to Astrakhan military who took part in SMO

The Astrakhan Garrison Military Court has rejected the lawsuit lodged by the military serviceman, who demanded from hospital bosses a certificate about the wound received by him in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine in order to receive the due compensation. The Southern District Military Court upheld the decision of the Garrison Court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in February this year, at hospitals of Anapa and Rostov-on-Don, the militaries, who had been wounded at the SMO, failed to receive certificates needed for receiving compensations.

Artyom Konopatov, a military contractor from Astrakhan, filed a lawsuit, demanding to oblige the bosses of the military hospital to issue him a wound certificate, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported. The decision of the Southern District Military Court states that in May 2022 Konopatov came under mortar and artillery fire in the SMO zone in Ukraine. A shell exploded near him. He was treated at the hospital for a week, but a wound certificate was not issued to him.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Gusein Magomedov, a serviceman from Dagestan, demanded from doctors to issue a certificate about of combat traumas at the SMO in Ukraine; and from the command of his military unit – to investigate the circumstances under which he was wounded, but the court dismissed the lawsuit.
