Pro-Ukrainian slogan turns into fine for Kuban resident

In the village of Pavlovskaya, the court has fined Dmitry Tertitsa, a local resident, by 40,000 roubles, finding that the slogan he wrote on the stele in support of Ukraine discredited Russian militaries.

According to investigators, Dmitry Tertitsa about a year ago met on Telegram a man named Karpenko, who had repeatedly invited him to take part in actions to discredit the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.

At night on June 12, 2023, they wrote a slogan in support of Ukraine on a stele near the village using blue and yellow paints. The culprits from Pavlovskaya took secrecy measures – they used gloves, balaclavas, and also left their phones at home. Dmitry Tertitsa admitted his guilt in court, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that another Pavlovskaya villager, Alexei Lesnev, was also fined by 40,000 roubles for commenting on the news about the attack on the Crimean Bridge.
