Volgograd resident fined for sticker on his car

The Sovietsky District Court of Volgograd has treated a pacifist sticker on the car window as discrediting the Russian Armed Forces and fined Oleg Moiseenko, a Volgograd resident, by 30,000 roubles.

As reported in the website of the above court, Moiseenko refused to admit his guilt and stated that the sticker appeared on his car during a motor rally held in March 2022 in support of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine. He has also said that he had removed the sticker and asked for leniency.

The court found Moiseenko guilty and, recognizing his health condition as a mitigating circumstance, imposed a minimum fine under this article.
