Large terrorist act was averted in Grozny
As it was reported in the regional operations staff for control of the antiterrorist operation in the Northern Caucasus, a radio-controlled self-made explosive assembly containing 800 grams of trotyl was found by federal forces on Mayakovsky Street.
A metallic tube served as a cover of the landmine, scraps of wire and screws were added to increase a damaging affect of the assembly. Sappers succeeded in landmine neutralizing, after that it was taken away to a safe place and destroyed.
Actions are conducted to ascertain and detain people who mounted the explosive assembly.
