Second protocol on discrediting Russian Army drawn up against Natalia Dorozhnova

Law enforcers have drawn up a second protocol on discrediting the Russian Army against Natalia Dorozhnova, a Volgograd activist. The reason to persecute her was Dorozhnova's statements in an interview after the trial, which fined her under the same article, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 9, 2023, Dorozhnova was fined by 15,000 roubles for her statements in that interview, which the court considered as discrediting the Russian Army. She refused to admit her guilt, recalling that the freedom of speech is enshrined in the Russian Constitution.

On December 12, 2023, Galina Tikhenko, a pensioner, held a solo picket in defence of the Constitution and peace. Galina Zabolotneva and Natalia Dorozhnova, activists, came to support Galina in her picket. Dorozhnova and Tikhenko were detained.
