Ex-Minister of Public Health of Azerbaijan sent to remote colony

Ali Insanov, former Azerbaijani Minister of Public Health, was sent to Colony No. 13 for further serving his punishment. This colony is located in the settlement of Buta in the Karadag District. His advocate Togrul Babaev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.

As he said, Ali Insanov had asked the managers of the penitentiary system to send him to a colony located closer to the city. The very fact that his client of sixty was sent for serving his term to the colony located 50 km away from his home was regarded by the defender as goofing on the ex-Minister and his family.

In their turn, human rights activists assert that the custody conditions in this colony are bad, and the roads leading there are in awful condition.
