Stavropol resident fined by 30,000 roubles for social network post
The court has found Artyom Babin, a Stavropol resident, guilty of discrediting the Russian Army for his pacifist post in the "VKontakte" social network.
The court has fined him by 30,000 roubles. His pacifist post was treated as discrediting the Russian Army, the human rights project "OVD Info"* has reported.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that law enforcers had drawn up a protocol under the article of discrediting the Russian Army against Pavel Prokudin, a Volgograd blogger, who was arrested within a criminal case for inciting hatred against Russian militaries.
*Included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of foreign agents.
