Adler resident arrested for eight days for extremist comments

A court in Adler has imposed an administrative punishment in the form of eight days of arrest on a local resident for his comments in a social network, which were treated as extremist.

As written by the Krasnodar Territorial Branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in its Telegram channel, the reason for the protocol drawn up against the above resident was in his comments in a chat posted in one of social networks. The 26-year-old resident of Adler had posted an extremist slogan, which became available to a wide range of users.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that in April, Andrei Maksimov, a Krasnodar resident, was fined for calling for a violation of Russia's territorial integrity. This was already the tenth fine imposed on Maksimov since early March.
