International organization to file a suit to the Hague Tribunal against President of South Ossetia

Representatives of the Tbilisi-based international organization "Solidarity Centre" are going to lodge a lawsuit to the Hague Tribunal against Eduard Kokoity, President of non-recognized Republic of South Ossetia.

The head of the organization Daniel Richard has already left for The Hague. According to his statement, Eduard Kokoity should face justice before the Hague Tribunal for his crimes committed against the Georgian people, the МА "Medianews" Agency reports.

"The South-Ossetian authorities are frequently breaching human rights. The only fact of cutting off potable water supply is sufficient evidence. We hope for support of the Hague Tribunal and believe that Eduard Kokoity will suffer punishment for his crimes," the leader of the international organization "Solidarity Centre" has stated. It is worth noting that German lawyers are elaborating the suit.
