Arrest of Sochi resident Schus for fakes about Russian Army extended

The court has extended the arrest of Alexei Schus, a Sochi resident, accused of distributing fakes about Russian Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in April, Alexei Schus, an engineer, became a defendant in a criminal case about fakes about the Russian Army due to his reposts in a social network made more than two years ago. On August 15, investigators toughened the charges against him, and Schus, who was under a recognizance not to leave the place, was taken into custody.

The court has extended Schus' arrest until February 26, 2025, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* has reported.
