MP Barakhoev denies accusation of preparing attempt on Kadyrov

Bekkhan Barakhoev, a Russian State Duma MP from Ingushetia, has stated that he had nothing to do with the preparation of the assassination attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 11, Rizvan Kurbanov, a State Duma MP from Dagestan, said that he had nothing to do with the assassination attempt on Kadyrov, as well as with the Wildberries Company.

On October 9, Kadyrov, speaking about the conflict around Wildberries, mentioned Suleiman Kerimov, Senator from Dagestan, and the State Duma MPs, Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov. He called on them to prove their non-involvement in the order for his murder and warned of his readiness to declare a blood feud against them.

Blood feuds are not declared because of business conflicts or criticism, Caucasus experts have commented on Kadyrov's words. For more details about the conflict, watch the video.

Let us recall that during a meeting of the Ingush and Chechen delegations, Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma MP from Chechnya, blamed Bekkhan Barakhoev for the incident at the Wildberries office. Delimkhanov said that the Chechens were forced to open return fire after they were shelled, and threatened Barakhoev with consequences. Barakhoev said that the Wildberries office guards were unarmed.
