She attended collective religious services and performances, maintained contacts with like-minded people, and also "studied and promoted literature of an extremist nature," says the Telegram channel of the Branch for the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that this August, two residents of the Zelenchuksky District became suspects in a case of involvement in an extremist organization. Besides, also in August, law enforcers conducted searches at homes of several Jehovah's Witnesses* from the KChR.

*All the 396 Russian organizations of Jehovah's Witnesses were recognized as extremist, and their activities in Russia were banned by court decision.
