Ukrainian citizen convicted in North Ossetia of espionage

The Supreme Court of North Ossetia has sentenced Evgeny Konin, a Ukrainian citizen, to eight years of freedom deprivation, finding him guilty of espionage.

According to investigators, he transmitted location coordinates of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces in the special military operation (SMO) zone with photos and videos to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the "Interfax" writes, citing the press service of the North-Ossetian Branch of the Russian FSB.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that this August the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria sentenced a Ukrainian citizen to 12 years in prison within an espionage case.
