Court in Nalchik finds soldier fit for service after grave wound

The Nalchik Garrison Military Court has rejected the claim lodged by Nikolai Spichkin, a military serviceman, who asked to find him unfit for service due to the removal of part of his intestines after the received wound.

In his law suit, Spichkin indicated that as a result of shrapnel wound received in combat, he underwent three surgeries. In his opinion, his health condition should have been classified as Category D – unfit for military service, and not B – limited fitness, as concluded by the military medical commission; as follows from the website of the Nalchik Garrison Military Court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the large family of the mobilized man, Murat Tutov, found itself in a difficult situation due to the absence of payments. The soldier himself received serious illnesses in the special military operation (SMO) zone and needed treatment, his wife indicated in her complaint sent to the head of Kabardino-Balkaria. Tutov was sent from the SMO zone in Ukraine for treatment with a diagnosis of tuberculosis, and was entitled to receive a payment of three million roubles. However, the hospital removed this diagnosis, stating that tuberculosis "got spontaneously cured", and hepatitis "C" was diagnosed. The command again sent him to the SMO zone, where his health condition has worsened.
