Action of protest of Alkhazurovo settlement inhabitants
On the night of August 7 a local resident was kidnapped by the Russian soldiers in the village of Alkhazurovo in the Achkhoy-Martan region. The family name of the young man is being specified.
Expressing protest against despotism of Russian soldiers, inhabitants of Alkhazurovo completely blocked a motor road passing near the settlement and blocked movement along the federal route ?Rostov-Baku? for several hours demanding to find and set the kidnapped man free.
In the second half of the day officials from the prosecutor?s office and representatives of the local administration visited people rallying, they persuaded them to break up having promised to release the kidnapped young man. If their fellow-villager is not set free within the next few days, inhabitants of Alkhazurovo are going to repeat actions of protest.
