Kadyrov: attack in Achkhoi-Martan organized by Ukrainian citizen

The person killed in the attack on the road-and-patrol police service (known as DPS) checkpoint in Achkhoi-Martan was directed from abroad, and the main leader is a citizen of Ukraine, Ramzan Kadyrov claims.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 7, sources reported that an unidentified person with a knife attacked the DPS checkpoint in Achkhoi-Martan. The Investigating Department for Chechnya of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reported that the DPS checkpoint in Achkhoi-Martan was attacked by a “local resident,” he was killed by “return fire,” and at least two police inspectors were injured. One of the policemen died.

Ramzan Kadyrov did not disclose the attacker’s name, but claimed that “those who directed his actions have been identified.”

“Some of them stay in Turkey, and their actions are being led by a citizen of Ukraine. We will call each of them to a severe response. This applies not only to the criminals themselves, but also to those who are directly or indirectly responsible for their actions,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The leader of Chechnya has also added that he “instructed to strengthen preventive measures against extremism and terrorism” and reminded the residents of Chechnya of collective responsibility. “Particular responsibility lies with the parents and relatives of terrorists. Each of them must understand that he will have to answer for the criminal actions of his relatives,” the leader of Chechnya stated.

A Chechen opposition Telegram channel reported that law enforcers detained all the relatives of the man who attacked the DPS checkpoint in Achkhoi-Martan, including his underage cousins.
