Three persons fell victim to shooting in Ardon

An armed attack was committed in Ardon, where an unidentified person shelled people at a car wash station and fled. One person was killed on the spot, and two others were wounded. One of them stays in severe condition.

The incident, which took place in Ardon in the evening of May 14, was reported by the North-Ossetian police shortly before midnight. To find the attacker, the republic’s police have introduced the “Intercept” plan, and checks on motorways have been intensified.

According to the information from the North-Ossetian police, an unidentified person opened fire from a submachine gun on the territory of a car wash station, aiming at three young people who stayed there. Residents of North Ossetia fell victims to the attack: a 24-year-old young man died on the way to the hospital without regaining consciousness, and a 35-year-old man in severe condition stays in resuscitation ward of the hospital, the North-Ossetian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports on its official Telegram channel.

“The attacker fled the scene of the crime before law enforcers arrived. Police inspectors seized bullets and cartridges from the scene of the shooting, and witnesses are being questioned,” the republic’s MIA reports.

The North-Ossetian police have not reported what injuries the third person received. Three persons fell victim to the attack, and one man died in the ambulance car, “two other stay in the hospital with severe wounds,” the “Shot” Telegram channel reports.

The attacker arrived at the scene of the incident in a VAZ car, jumped out of the car, and opened fire. The deceased 24-year-old man was a “random passerby,” and the owner of the car wash station was also wounded, the “BAZA” Telegram channel indicates, publishing a short video from surveillance cameras.

It follows from the video recording that the attacker fired several bursts at the people staying in the parking lot and immediately jumped back into the car, after which the car drove away.

Three persons took part in the attack, and the car they were travelling in was found burned down in a field, the “Mash Gor” Telegram channel claims, publishing the names of the alleged accomplices. The “Caucasian Knot” cannot yet verify the veracity of the information provided.

The shooting was carried out from two sides: “a group of men began a shootout with the enemy in front of other people,” after which the three shooters fled. The severely injured victim was a participant in the shootout, the deceased young man was an “eyewitness,” and the owner of the car wash station was wounded in his arm, the “Sapa 15” Telegram channel reported.
